Aluminum Sand and Sludge Nozzle

Aluminum Sand and Sludge Nozzle has been redesigned for greater cleaning efficiency and casting integrity. The nozzle’s cast aluminum body has 16 machined rear jet ports along with a single jet orphic port machined into the front nose of the nozzle. The rear outside row of eight ports are machined at a 24° angle, while the inner row of eight are machined at 17°.

 

A hardened steel jet is screwed into the machined rear ports in various configurations, depending upon the conditions and size of the pipe being cleaned. For cleaning 8” to 18” pipe, and the removal of sand, sludge and organics for general pipe cleaning conditions, advises to set the outer rear jets at 24° and to plug off the inner ports.
